WU Wins Final Game, Now Prepares for Nationals

The Westcliff men's beach volleyball team played their final game of the season on Thursday and came out on top winning 3-2.
With the win Westcliff finished the season with an overall record of 5-1 and will turn their attention to the national tournament that is only weeks away.
It's been a positive season for the Warriors which prioritized playing against professionals, still qualifiers, or open level athletes in order to get the best competition possible.
This was coach Fernando Sabla's plan from the beginning in order to be prepared for the AVCA National Championships that will take place November 4th in Huntsville, AL.
Thursday's results are the following:
Pair 1 (WU) Jacob Titus and Pizza won 21-16, 21-17
Pair 2 (WU) Tom Dempsey and Kajus Mazuronis won 21-17, 21-12
Pair 3 (WU) won by forfeit.
Pair 4 (WU) Michael and Mike Howell lost 14-21, 14-21
Pair 5 (WU) Andy and Tyler lose 16-21, 23-25
Pair 2 (WU) Tom Dempsey and Kajus Mazuronis won 21-17, 21-12
Pair 3 (WU) won by forfeit.
