Warrior Spotlight - Women's Beach Volleyball (Gianna Guinasso / Sierra Lim)

Women's Beach Volleyball is back in action after being on the sidelines for almost two years. This past week Westcliff Beach recieved a first in program history. They beat an opponent that was (Receiving Votes) in the NAIA Beach Volleyball polls in San Diego Christian. The highlight of the match along with all of the other warriors as a team went 5-0. The most impressive display was from our team's 1st pair Gianna Guinasso and Sierra Lim. Guinasson/ Lim won their match against San Diego Christians top pair 21-9 and 21-18. They improve their pair record to 1-0. 

Beach Volleyball just getting started have a long season ahead of them. Dean of Athletics Shawn Harris comments on Beach's performance last week, "I am incredibly excited about our beach volleyball program under the leadership of Kenny Ma and Chris Vu. Gianna Guinasso and Sierra Lim dominate the competition in our first match, sending a message that Westcliff University will be a top contender in this sport for years to come".

Women's Beach Volleyball will be back in face off against San Diego Christian again to cap off the month.
