Westcliff wins the Battle of the Warriors against Life Pacific

Westcliff Warriors went down to face off against Life Pacific Warriors on Friday morning. The match saw all pairs win out not conceding a single set for a final score of 5-0. Warriors improve to 7-0 on the season.

Coaches' Notes

"Every pair won without dropping a single set including in our exhibition match. 12-0 in sets. 6-0 in matches. We wanted to come into the game without underestimating our opponent. We scrimmaged them a month ago without a lot of struggle. However, we hold our athlete's to a high standard and teach our athlete's to respect every single opponent. We understood that every team can get a lot better in a span of just a month. We just need to come out to battle. I was very proud of all of our pairs for staying locked into our goals. Our #1 pair really impressed us today! Both Gianna and Sierra showed their aggression and proved why they are one of the most dominant pairs in the NAIA. Our #4 pair also had a standout performance. It was the battle of David and Goliath. Maddie and Ava are about 5'2-5'4. Their opponents were well over 6'1."
 
What's Next? Westcliff will host MCU and USK, 3/19/22 at the OCGP. 9am/1pm
