It was another frustrating afternoon at Amerige Park in Fullerton for the Westcliff baseball team Saturday, as they fell again in 10 innings to Providence Christian, this time 8-4.
The Sea Beggars took advantage of a pair of lead-off walks and a hit bastman in the 10th when Lee Atkinson Jr. roped a double down the left field line, scoring three.
Westcliff battled throughout but managed only four hits — though they were robbed of a JB Rosario homerun to center.
Daniel Esqueda went 1-for-3 with a pair of free passes and runs scored, respectively.
Wyatt Baptiste had a knock and an RBI, as did Jack Barrios.
Keith Hale Jr. accounted for Westcliff's final basehit.
Providence took care of the night cap as well, winning 11-0.
Westcliff hosts Park-Gilbert for a pair next Friday.
