Dubs take one of three from Eagles
The Westcliff basketball team took one win home after a three-game road trip to La Sierra in Riverside that concluded Sunday. The victory was a 7-6 final in Game 2. The Warriors dropped Game 1, 16-12, and Game 3, 4-3.

The Westcliff baseball team took one win home after a three-game road trip to La Sierra in Riverside that concluded Sunday.
The victory was a 7-6 final in Game 2.
The Warriors dropped Game 1, 16-12, and Game 3, 4-3.
Westcliff (6-14, 1-5) scored two in the top of the ninth to capture the comeback win Sunday.
Chance Shipley got the started and pitched into the fifth, striking out five and allowing just one earned.
Anthony Chiraramonte got the win after closing out the eighth, and Kyle Douphner recorded a two-strikeout save.
Zane Parmenter provided the clutch knock, a double to right in the ninth that scored Miguel España (2-for-3, 3 R).
Parmenter (2-for-3, 2 RBI) then scored the game-winning run on an overthrow.
Kolby Wagatsuma knocked in three runs, and Ian Avalos plated two more.
Caleb Castanchoa also collected a double.
In the Game 1 loss, Wagatsuma had a double and Nick Malvini (4 RBI) went yard.
Parmenter and Brandon Seidner had a pair of RBI each.
In Game 3, Avalos and Micah Wallette had doubles each, and Wallette drove home Avalos on a second-inning, two-run shot.
Wallette then scored to make 4-3 in the fourth when Wagatsume singled to left.
Camden Cooper was outstanding in the loss.
The lanky right-hander went eight full, allowing just three earned on six hits, while striking out seven.
The Warriors host Nobel University Thursday for a doubleheader.
First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Great Park.
