Bailey Hawkins Named Cal Pac Player of the Week (Jan 10-16)

Bailey Hawkins was named the Cal Pac Player of the week for Jan 10-16. This is Hawkin's first POTW accolade along with Westcliff's 2nd. Hawkins earned this honor off of her stellar performance last week against La Sierra and Saint Katherine.

Westcliff suited up only 6 players for their first conference game in program history. Hawkins in her match up against La Sierra grabbed 20 points, 12 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists. Hawkins shot for 69% from the field.

Hawkins only two days later off of Westcliff's first conference win wanted to grab another. Hawkins not only secured the win against Saint Katherine. She grabbed her 6th double-double on the season along with her 3rd straight game double-double. In this game she grabbed 23 points, 10 rebounds, 4 blocks, 1 assist and 1 steal. Hawkins shot 77% from the field.

Hawkins in her first two conference games grabbed a total of 43 points, 22 rebounds, 5 steals, 4 blocks and 4 assists. This was also Hawkins 2nd game back to back 20+ point performance.  Hawkins is currently tied for No. 1 in the conference for rebounds per game at 9.5. Hawkins also is No. 2 in the Cal Pac in Field Goal Percentage at 53.6 %.
