What Happened? Westcliff Warriors (9-9, 6-1) went to face against Benedictine Mesa (9-9, 1-3). This Arizona trip has been challenging the Warriors with back to back to back conference games. Westcliff has stepped up to the challenge. After falling to the Buccaneers the Warriors wanted to show the Cal Pac that they are the new show in town. Westcliff's "Big 3" (Trinity Vasquez, Laura Tapia and Bailey Hawkins) never left the court on their route to a 76-68 victory over the Redhawks. Sara Weber helped the Warriors with a season high 15 points on 5-8 shooting from beyond the Arc.

Coaches' Notes
What was the biggest difference between the first half and second half in this one?
"The biggest difference between the first and the second half was the intensity on defense. We stepped up huge on that side of the floor and were able to string a couple of stops together which helped us in transition offense."
Which players stepped up big to help come out with this victory?
"Of course our big 3, Trinity, Bailey & Laura have always been consistent with their performances, but we also got a huge help from Sara today. Neyha played great defense as well locking down their best players. A big group effort tonight."
Despite the victory, what are a few things that need to be fixed before the game against Embry-Riddle?
"Some things that would need to change against Embry-Riddle is that we can't start the game the way we did today. Intensity on offense and defense has to be from the start of those 40 minutes."-Coach Mary Dishoian
What's Next? Westcliff finishing their Arizona trip today against Embry-Riddle at 4:30.
