Warriors Fall to Fresno Pacific in Four Sets

The Westcliff women's volleyball team fell to Fresno Pacific Thursday night at Momentous Sports Complex in four sets, 25-22, 23-25, 23-25, 11-25.
Led by Maddie Shepston and Peyton Holst, the Warriors came out of the gates blazing, taking down Fresno comfortably in the first set.
Shepston finished with 11 kills and 10 digs, while Holst turned in 10 kills and six blocks.
On the defensive end, Jillian Hewitt finished with a team-high 17 digs, while Rylee Adair (18 assists) and Kenidi MacDonald had nine apiece.
At net, Michelle Do paced the Warriors with 22 assists.
Westcliff (2-4) opens California Pacific Conference play Thursday when it hosts Embry-Riddle.
