2022 IVC League Champions - Men's Beach
Saturday was filled with sunshine and high power beach volleyball. Throughout the Season Westcliff Warriors went undefeated in the IVC Men's Beach League taking down Golden West, Irvine Valley, Santiago Canyon, Moorpark, Santa Barbara and El Camino.
Westcliff Men's beach team played 3 matches on their way in the IVC tournament.
Warriors took all matches 3-0 for the 2022 IVC League Champions.

Coaches Notes
"Winning the IVC League Championship is such a great accomplishment for our program. We have been competing in this league since 2018 and no one really respected our program."
This year, it was very obvious that we would dominate the league and it was very cool experience to witness the shift in everyone's thoughts on Westcliff Men's Beach Volleyball. We were the program where all of the schools were talking about and you could hear the other athletes on the sideline make comments of being in awe of our athletes.
This is only the beginning for our program and this league was a fantastic way for our team to prepare for Nationals. We used this league to refine our pairs and worked on skills and strategies that could increase the level of our team for Nationals.
To win a National Championship next week, our team will need to be mentally prepared for much tougher competition. We need to understand that every team is all going to be very strong and that we will need to go to battle. I believe we have the talent to win the championship, but it will be up to our mental game and execution."
Westcliff will be heading to Huntsville, Alabama as they will take part in the Inaugural AVCA Men's Beach Volleyball National Championship.
