Coaches' Notes (Ross Duncan)
1. Players that stood out to you:
"Antoine Tamalandier stood out to me with his Play to win, had great attitude. And, it was brave during his first college match. Felix Veyhle fought through adversity and was able to win the match.
2. What was your takeaway from your first match in Westcliff history?
"It was a great atmosphere, team came with a strong team spirit. Women's team came to support as well. We will work in on our weaknesses to comeback stronger. The guys had a great time and represented the school well."
3. What do you as a team need to work on and focus for the future ?
"We need to learn how to play the big no ad points with more purpose. The guys were hoping for the opponent to miss instead of taking it to them more. Playing these tough non conference schools should serve us well later in the season as we are in great need of matches to be match tough."
What's Next? Westcliff will be home next week on Friday the 18th against Concordia University at the OC Great Park
