Warriors fall to Simpson

What Happened? Westcliff Warriors hosted Simpson Redhawks Saturday at the Jordan Lawley facility. Westcliff throughout the course of the game was going back and forth with Simpson on defensive stops and putting up shots. Simpson led at the Half 33-31. The 2nd half mirrored the 1st with both sides fighting for every possession. Both side held the lead at one point in this game with a total of 13 different lead changes between Redhawks and Warriors. In the final minute of the game the Redhawks had a 2 point lead. However on the final play foul was called against the Warriors and it came down to free throws from Simpson that gave them a 4 point lead to ice the game. Final Score Westcliff 66 Simpson 70.

Warriors Sweep Aside Arizona

As of print time, the Westcliff men's basketball team has the most wins, six, in the Cal Pac Conference.  That development came as a result of a perfect weekend road trip to Arizona, where the Warriors swept aside Park-Gilbert, Benedictine Mesa and Embry-Riddle, 71-69, to move to 6-4 in conference play.
